On April 15th, 2023, the prestigious Femina Miss India pageant crowned its 59th winner, and this time it was none other than 19-year-old Nandini Gupta from Kota, Rajasthan. Winning the pageant was a childhood dream come true for Nandini, who aspired to become Miss India since the age of 10.

Nandini is currently pursuing business management at Lala Lajpat Rai College, but her heart lies in the world of beauty and fashion. Her biggest inspiration in life is Ratan Tata, the legendary former chairman of Tata Sons, whom she admires for his philanthropy and humble nature.

Another person who has had a profound impact on Nandini is Priyanka Chopra, the winner of Miss World 2000. Nandini is deeply impressed by Priyanka's admirable qualities, such as her sense of humour, her drive for continuous growth, and her ability to inspire others. Priyanka's achievements and demeanour have motivated Nandini to follow in her footsteps and strive for success in her own endeavours.

Nandini believes that "rejections play a crucial role in defining who one is as an individual. And is determined to face all the challenges, failures, and rejections that may come her way as she embarks on the journey of a lifetime." She is proud of her home state, Rajasthan, and believes that its heritage, culture, and traditions are what set it apart from others.

As the winner of Femina Miss India 2023, Nandini will now represent India at the 71st Miss World competition, which will be held in 2024 in the United Arab Emirates. Delhi's Shreya Poonja and Manipur's Thounaojam Strela Luwang were the first and second runner-ups of the pageant, respectively.

Nandini's victory is a testament to her hard work, dedication, and perseverance, and she is sure to make India proud on the global stage. We wish her all the best for her future endeavours and hope that she continues to inspire young girls across the country to dream big and chase their passions.
